HOW IS THE CERTIFICATION PROCESS USED?

After the creation and implementation of its management system, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standard, the organization should contact the system certification body.

At the application stage, the necessary information about the company is collected from the organization submitting the application, and the pricing work is carried out on the basis of this information.

If the proposal stage leads to mutual agreement, the planning stage for the audit begins.

The certification process begins with a two-step initial audit:

Stage 1 The audit is conducted either in the office or on-site, depending on the risk group of the organization.

Stage 1 audit is conducted to:

View client management system documents,

Assess the client’s location and site conditions,

Contact the staff of the customer to assess their readiness for the 2nd stage of the audit,

Read the terms of the client,

Confirm that the requirements of the standard are well understood (in particular, key performance indicators or processes, goals and performance of the management system),

Gather the necessary information about the scope of the management system, relevant regulations and current risks, and

Review the resource allocation for the 2nd stage audit.

After completing the audit of stage 1 (if it is necessary to proceed to stage 2), audit of stage 2 is planned, and audit of stage 2 should be conducted on site.

During this audit, the following processes are evaluated:

Monitoring, measuring and reporting on the achievement of these goals,

Compliance with the client management system and its compliance with legal requirements,

Operational control of customer processes,

Internal audit and management review,

Management’s Responsibility for Client Policy,

General requirements, policies, references to performance objectives (whether they meet management system standards or other requirements), other applicable legal requirements, responsibilities, organizational competence, procedures, performance information, results and results of the internal audit.

Upon completion of the audit of the 2nd stage, all information and audit evidence is verified. If during the inspections any inconsistencies were identified, only after their elimination the certification is completed with the approval of the Certification Committee.
